No worries, though! With our Blenderfordental plugins and easy step-by-step tutorials, using Blender becomes a breeze.

Our mission? To make digital dentistry accessible to all. We're also diligently working on introducing more modules, covering the full spectrum of dental CAD applications.

UPGRADING COMPUTERS & BLENDER VERSIONS

Prior to December 2023 Versions - Blenderfordental® modules can be downloaded on up to three computers. If you wish to install Blenderfordental on a new computer or operating system, or if you plan to upgrade to a new version of Blender, you'll need to uninstall your current Blenderfordental software using the uninstall program. This step is crucial to avoid script file conflicts with other Blender versions. Our Renewal Code system keeps a record, and after uninstallation, the software becomes available for a new installation.

Post December 2023 Versions - Blenderfordental® modules can be downloaded on three computers through a User Interface (UI), with each UI being linked to a specific computer. The UI oversees all Blender installations, B4D software installations, and updates.

Blender Software undergoes frequent upgrades, and our commitment is to stay current. Blenderfordental® has chosen to exclusively utilize Blender's LTS (Long Term Solution) versions, which are released yearly. This decision is aimed at preserving compatibility with the software scripts for its seamless operation.

In the event of an upgrade to a new version, all users will receive notifications from Blenderfordental®. It's crucial to be aware that Blenderfordental® retains the right to make previous versions obsolete. Should this occur, users will be informed at least 3 months in advance to update their B4D Software. Importantly, all updates and upgrades are provided free of charge.

B4D USER INTERFACE (UI) - TERMS & CONDITIONS

Blenderfordental's User Interface serves as the launching platform for Blender, showcasing the Blenderfordental software within it. While Blender can be initiated without the UI, doing so results in the loading of Blender's default file without the inclusion of the Blenderfordental software.

It's essential to recognize that, for optimal functionality, the UI relies on the B4D folder in your Applications directory for loading and unloading files. These operations encompass:

  1. Installing and deleting software files to ensure the software stays up-to-date, triggered by the user pressing the 'Update Module', the 'Install Module' or the 'Refresh' button on the UI.

  2. Managing folders to sustain the software's smooth operation.

  3. Handling the deletion and installation of background files during the software loading process into Blender.

  4. The UI undergoes automatic and interval-based 'Refresh' operations to guarantee the accurate functioning of the software and the timely delivery of relevant notifications.

Important notice! Files stored in the B4D directory may be deleted. Kindly refrain from saving any files in the B4D directory. Blenderfordental will not assume liability for any lost data in those folders.

For PC Windows: C:\Applications\B4D\...   , for Mac Computers: Applications/B4D/...

Furthermore,

  1. To use Blenderfordental, you need to log in and register the software to a specific computer, creating a unique identifier for that device. The same registration process applies when installing the software on subsequent computers, marking each UI accordingly.

  2. If you want to switch the software from one computer to another, you'll need to perform a UI Renewal. This process involves filling out a form accessible through the UI. This is also necessary if you plan to attend a course.

  3. While an internet connection is essential for the initial login and registration of the UI to a specific computer, it is not required to launch Blender. The only requirement is to have the 'green' connection status light displayed on the UI.

  4. After taking part in a Blenderfordental course, any modules used in the course but not owned will be deleted when you log in with your own UI credentials.

  5. It's important to mention that the Blenderfordental Trial version is only available with the Model Designer module and is valid for 14 days.

  6. The UI does not support the cross-sharing of modules; only rightfully purchased modules are loaded into the UI.

  7. Each UI is linked to a single email login. In a group where three UIs are shared, Blenderfordental will only communicate with the rightful purchaser of the software in case of any issues.

  8. Please DO NOT place any of your own folders in the B4D directory, these will be deleted. Only files kept in the 'AssetPC', 'AssetMac' and 'Files' folder are retained.

By using the Blenderfordental User Interface, you automatically consent to these specified operations. You also acknowledge that a breach of the Terms & Conditions gives Blenderfordental the right to disable the UI, rendering Blenderfordental unusable.
