Updating modules
General Information

All Blenderfordental module updates are free. New features are sometimes added to the modules to improve the software and to keep it up to date with the current Blender program.

Regularly check the update log to see what improvements are made. A link to the Update Log can also be found in the 'My Modules' page.

Tip: Try downsizing your browser window to fit into the Blender window

Different kinds of updates

There are three kinds of updates:

  1. A coding or script update, without a menu change.

  2. A coding update with a menu change.

  3. A Pie Menu Editor update.

When a module is updated, as in number 2, your module activations are renewed. The update log will inform you how to proceed with the update. Below are the instructions for each type of module update. The update instructions are the same for all Blenderfordental modules.

N.B.! If you have the Logo Designer module please save you your logo in a separate folder elsewhere. The module will be replaced with a new module and your logo could be lost.

When saving your work, always save your work in other directories. If you save your work in any of the B4D module folders, your work will be lost when updating the modules.

The procedure for updating a module is the same for all Blenderfordental modules
